Stable even on downhill. Use it for every type of riding. It carries everything, pads, helmet, chest protector, extra layer patch kit , extra tube, pump and sunglasses.

got this and love it and use it all the time. Great for commuting and for mnt biking and boarding. A little tight in space at times but the exterior storage helps with things like carrying half gallons of juice from the store. Also wish that the back had a bit of a curve to help retain shape like some of the osprey packs have

I picked up this pack for when I go out on longer rides, and for when I vacation in Moab, UT later this year. I chose this pack because I have been so impressed with my smaller Dakine Session pack that I picked up a couple years ago. Quality, function, and form are all top notch! The whistle on the chest buckle is a nice feature. My dog loves it, as it gets her attention instantly. Could be really handy when I'm out hiking with her. I will be posting a picture soon to show the interior details of the pack.

Great small to midsize hydration back with room for the essentials just like the description says. This pack (like most/all Dakine packs) uses a Hydrapak reservoir with a quick disconnect at the bottom so you do not have to unthread the drinking tube to fill up the reservoir. When filled up to its 100oz capacity, there was still enough room for a shell jacket (Alpha LT in XL), a multitool, cell phone, keys, and some snacks. I haven't tried out the helmet carry, but it looks like it will work as advertised. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the waist belt keeps it from bouncing around too much when it gets rough.
