Needed it to keep french door knobs cabeled together. When locked, the cable slipped about 3"-4". Enough for the cable to be removed from the knobs. Might work if pulled further out or if you don't mind the cable not ciching tight and staying there. The actual lock worked great, wasn't the smoothest, but for the price I didn't expect it to be top of the line. I did, however expect to stay tight when locked.

A little bigger than i thought, but it gets the job done. I've never had any problems getting it to unlock. When it gets really cold, the cable-retract is a little catchy but still works fine. Definitely a good investment to protect your gear.

I replaced my lock and this one works better. However the cable retract button isn't the smoothest operating mechanism. Still it does it's job and I still have my skis. Change from * to *** rating

I bought the silly lock to protect my investments this winter. So silly me, I reset the lock to my combination - no prob. Then I decide I'll test it out and lock my Pontoons to my Volkls just to see how long the cable really is - no prob. Well when I go to unlock it the combo doesn't unlock. I just cut the cable so I can hit the hills tomorrow. I use the same combo for everything so I know I have the right one. The stupid lock just wouldn't open. Can i return this?

This is the perfect product to keep those punks from nabin your board when at the bar after slopes have closed.
