Hopefully your skis make it to Chile, too.

    Fits all the gear

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a fantastic bag for day trips (I've yet to fly with it, but I'm sure it's great for that. I used to make 2 or 3 trips to the car with all my gear, but now it all fits in the bag. Helmet and goggles fit up top, boots in the back, ski socks, gloves, and other small accessories in the front pouch. Study construction and overall a great bag.

One bag to rule them all

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this bag for traveling with my ski boots and such, but loved it so much so that I use this as my everyday trip up the mountain bag. It holds my ski boots, helmet, 3 pairs of goggles, gloves, buffs and still has room for a snack or two. The tarp liner is great for not getting the rest of the bag wet when I just got done skiing for the day. It is large and bulky and I do not advise using it to actually ski with on your back.

    Perfect carryon

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just returned from a long European ski trip and this bag worked great as a carryon. Held my boots, helmet, goggles and extra lenses, ski socks, 2 pairs of gloves and sunglasses. I'm sure I could have fit a pair of shell pants in there as well. Because of this bag I was assured that, with some judicious purchases I would be skiing even if the airline lost my gear bags for a day or 2.

    Awesome Bag Awesome Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This bag is legit. Has enough room for your boots, plus pretty much everything else. I was able to fit my pants and jacket as well as some baselayers and a midlayer all together in this pack after the boots and helmet were already stashed. KEEPS ALL YOUR GEAR IN ONE PLACE - and whats not to like about that? Seems like its build sturdy enough to hold up through the years.

    Wonderful backpack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This backpack fits most of your ski gear; would like to have extra pockets on the outside, side pockets to fit ski braces. It is made of high quality fabric made of recyclable bottles with a cute southwestern design.

    Great pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Fits everything you'll need from bucket to boots in a convenient package.

    Great bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great boot bag. I decided it was time to replace my old, super used, boot bag. One thing I absolutely love is that it has a separate compartment for the boots! Everything else stays dry. Love this!

is the upper pocket large enough for clothing and helmet? or it's designed to only hold a helmet?

Is this small enough for hand carry onto...

Is this small enough for hand carry onto the plane?

    Best Answer

This should be small enough indeed. Most airlines use a total size of 45inches (length+width+depth)as their guideline for carry-on luggage. This bag would be just shy of that at 43 total inches. I would certainly recommend verifying the total inch regulation for carry-on with your airline if you had any doubts though.
