Disgruntled baggage handlers are no match for the padded protection of the Boardpack.

On your next trip to Powder Paradise, transport your board in the sweet lookin' Boardpack. The back of the compartment is padded so your precious board and bindings arrive unscathed. Carry the Boardpack suitcase-style or deploy padded shoulder straps from their stash pocket and schlep it on your back. The full-length zipper makes access a snap, and a zippered accessory pocket on the top is great for tools, wax, and other small goods.

DAKINE Boardpack

Cool styling and detail. Great price, but you get what you pay for. I placed extra foam padding in the bag for the plane trip (which meant it was roomy enough), but there were already wear and abrasion marks from any contact points from the board and bindings, and that's after only one trip. I don't know if this thing would last more than a few years worth of trips.

Gets the job done

I bought this bag to fly to New York and go snowboarding with some friends. It fit my board, boots, goggles and gloves with no problem. I was hoping that there would be a little more protection along the edges of the board (like some hard plastic), but I flew both ways without problems, so it seems to do the job.

The backpack straps are a nice touch, and I used them several times on the trip. The only drawback is the straps are right in the middle of the board, so that the end of the board sticks up a couple of feet over your head when you're wearing it. That means that you can't walk through doorways, and that the top of the board will hit low ceilings if you are indoors.

This is a great bag for the money, and I would buy it again. I'd give it 5 stars for value and 4 stars for overall quality. If you're looking for a decent bag on a budget, this is the one.

Dakine Bag

Even though the bag is not heavily padded, I thought it was great for my woman's 154 board and bindings. My board just fits in the bag (length wise) but I can fit my boots in there also which makes it so much easier to travel back and forth from home to Whistler.

good bag

Good bag from DAKINE. Nothing fancy but good value for the price. Quality workmanship.

DaKine Boardpack

This is a great board pack if you're throwing your gear in the car for an overnighter at the slopes. Weather resistant and very protective against the cooler that might slide around in the back of your truck!

good bag ..

i used it for traveling from NY to Park City and it worked great .. it's not heavily padded and is a tight fit with my 161 and large Ride bindings, but worked fine.

A simple bag, not the best, but not the worst. My board does not fit in bag with the bindings mounted. With bindings dismounted there is lost of room for other stuff if arranged properly. The bag is sturdy but only padded on one side. Basic bag.
