Best snowboard pack out there!

This pack does everything I need it to and has surpassed my expectations! It is very durable and holds plenty for any day event. The zippers are super durable and will last for much longer than a normal pack. The fleece pocket is perfect for protecting your goggles or sunglasses. So pack up your gear and find some powder!!! Enjoy the boarding

Is the waist belt removable or can you get it out of the way for everyday wear?

Responded on

waist belt is very small and can be just clipped around the other side of the pack to be kept out of the way

Responded on

it cant be removed but i have worn it many times w/out the bottom straps clipped and it doesnt seem to get in the way

Will the Voile Rescue Shovel System fit in this backpack?

Responded on

the shovel blade for sure. The handle and probe you may find it more difficult to fit in there and have to rig something for them.

Best Answer Responded on

it will fit if you took the handle off it might be kinda tight though

does this pack hold a wide board?

does this pack hold a wide board?

Best Answer Responded on

yes it does, a wider board will actually be more secure than a narrower board too

Perfect for a day at the resort or in the backcountry

This pack is perfect for a day of riding weather your in the resort hitting up the park or in the backcountry cruising through powder. It never gets in the way on lifts and fits so well you forget your wearing it.

Fun bag

Awesome bag, comes in great colors. It could be a bit more reinforced where I carry my skis on the front but it is a solid bag that has a lot of pockets and works for a lot of use.

Great value

Just got this pack and I already love it. It hold a whole change of clothes, my lunch, an extra set of gloves, and anything else i think I'll need. The carry straps work flawlessly, the board doesnt move at all when its srapped in.

COOLEST BAG I GOT!

I'm all about what you pay for is what you get! And i definitely got what i paid for! I purchased the red shotgun splatter one and let me tell you i didn't expect to have so much! There is room for everything! Goggles, Sunglasses(which i wont recommend unless you try and fit the case in there as well), a camelback with a slot to slide your tube in!, a shovel, food, drinks etc! whatever you can think of! it fit perfectly all snug and im all about stylin while riding and i definitely had some stare downs because the bag was so damn sexy! Dakine always makes great products!

Steller for Boarding and More

Took this bag out on the mountain a week ago and loved the comfortably and carrying capacity wearing the bag the whole day. I thought it would be a problem carrying the bag on the lifts all day but it really wasn't that inconvenient. Liked how the straps to vertically carry the board are reinforced. The bag comes in handy when you fit in it and eat it on the go. Also lets me get all my gear out of my pockets and a spare pair of gloves. A ton of pockets in the bag make it easier to split my gear. Off the mountain I like how much it can carry. Perfect for those times when you want to take some cloths with you but don't want a whole suitcase. Liked how the straps to vertically carry the board are reinforced.

Who ever has this bag can you tell me if a 13" laptop would fit well in the bag. Also how much space is left over if any. Thanks

Responded on

I just noticed that someone below answered it already a 15" would fit. As for how much space is left over well can anyone still help me with that answer. thanksFor example can 2 or 3 laptops fit inside? I know it's a small bag, but i just wanna get an idea of what amount of space the bag has.you can fit about 2 laptops inside! you can try and fit 3! but 2 sounds good.

Responded on

I have this bad and it can fit two laptops, but when its that full all the other pockets cannot be used to full capacity.

Responded on

um it would fit but not entirely sure how much if any room would be left

Perfect for all but heli trips.

This has room for a shovel, snow probe, hydration pack, and lunch/snacks. Basically great for out of bounds or backcountry building a booter, in bounds for those people who like to eat on the run so they don't waste any of that precious boarding time, or people who have sketchy equipment that want to take back up hardware. Plus the pack is extremely comfortable, and looks great. Cyan Chop Shop. :-)

how about adjustable ski poles, is there a convenient spot to strap those on?

Responded on

There is not a spot specifically designed for ski poles, unless they break down to 15" or less. Sorry, I am a snowboarder so I am not familiar with adjustable ski poles.

Responded on

just strap em to the back with the snowboard carry...this isnt a skiing pack tho

Responded on

deff they would fit into the ski carry straps or possibly even the inside w/out a prob

Describe the waist strap please. Just 1-1.5" nylon strap with buckle, or padded like a good pack?

Responded on

Waist strap is about 3 and 3/4" wide where it connects to the pack, tapers down to 1 and 1/2" wide about 8 and 1/4" from the pack.

Responded on

it is partly padded around your hips and about belt level it tapers down to a regular strap

Will this backpack fit a mid-size laptop (15") and some other junk? Unfortuanately I dont get many chances to board, so I need to use this primarily for an all around work/school bag.

Thanks

Responded on

It definitely would. I know tons of people that use this as a school bag.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Great back pack. Plenty of space, but not too big!

You just can't see them in the picture. They're there.

does it have a hard back or anything?

does it have a hard back or anything?

Responded on

nope, just nylon, however it does have some flexible 1/4" or so foam sewn into the back, kind of like the back of a laptop backpack. Probably there to insulate your back from the hydration pack, or lightly protect your back during a nasty wipe out.

Responded on

no it has a mesh like material covering some padding its very comfy
