Dainease 3X knee guard

Wouldn't do downhill without guards. ONly complaint is the sizing is not efficient. A medium and large are the EXACT same size padding, the only difference is the circumference of the velcro straps which really aren't that important compared to the amount of surface area I want guarded by the pads themselves. Medium will do if you are an average size woman with larger calves because the large straps ensures the pads slide down the leg instead of staying in place during the ride. Not so good when you fall and the pads have slidden down no longer covering their intended spots!

    Form & Function - Saaweet!!!

Wow!!! I barely noticed them being on me (on my first ride). They're form fitting, light weight, the quality is excellent. The velcro straps are the best I've seen used on any equipment. You hold them and you can tell they're well made. Materials, craftsmanship, design and little details. All great traits that come with Dainese.

I might just order another set to have them for back up. :-)

Really interested in purchasing these. Any insight as far as sizing. The chart given doesn't really help. Thanks.

Hope this is still timely for you. Sizing runs small to true. I normally would wear a small in 661 pads but these in a medium (which is their smallest size) fit was fine. It's a gamble but you can always send it back if it doesn't work out. About a $7 rental to try them out -- that's the way I rationalize it.
