Made for multi-sport or multi-water exploits.

Hit the river at peak run-off for a long weekend of crushing rapids, set out for a pre-dawn cruise across the lake to the egret's haunt, or strap the Dagger Katana 10.4 Kayak to the roof of your car, load your mountain bike on the rack, and get ready for a two-week multi-sport adventure. This versatile boat holds gear both in front and behind the seat for a well-adjusted ride. Stability is sweet, but so is the ability to take with goodies guaranteeing a good weekend. Whether you're a well-seasoned river runner or working up to otter status, you'll be able to paddle powerfully and experience initial stability in this crossover kayak.
A progressive rocker, large bow volume, and beveled flared side walls make slipping down a class III river hedonistic. Fledgling paddlers won't be taking on lake surf or high-volume rivers yet, but the rocker makes maneuvering manageable and the fairly flat midsection provides initial stability for on-water confidence. Paddlers of all levels don't want to waste energy taking a zig-zag approach to crossing still water, which is why the drop-skeg offers arrow-like tracking across smooth surfaces. Lift the skeg when you're heading towards foamy fun, and then drop it again to avoid getting caught in angry eddies at the bottom.
Just like its smaller sibling, the Katana 9.7, this genetically whitewater boat hints at being a party animal with the outfitting. Contour Ergo seating provides a custom fit so your perch is perfectly positioned for the day's activity: adjustable leg lifters reduce pressure points, and adjustable hip pads let you dial in the fit for aggressive paddling. The bulkhead plate comes out for a safer footbrace, in addition opening up the bow for storage. Between the stern hatch and bulkhead in the bow, you can take a balanced approach to gear storage. It's too bad the rest of your life isn't quite so even-keeled.
