Keep on rollin’ in the Blackwater.

Take the Dagger Blackwater II 13.5 Tandem Kayak out for a day trip with a friend, or slide the front seat back and transform the Blackwater into an overnight-worthy solo boat. The sturdy hull helps prevent unplanned swims, and the drop skeg keeps the boat tracking despite any lackluster paddling skills or choppy conditions. The adjustable high backrests will keep anybody on board comfortable, and the sealed stern hatch storage protects your lunch, dry clothes, and extra gear.

Write your question here...are there foot rests for each passenger?

Responded on

There should be foot braces for each paddler, check the manufacturer's web page to be absolutely sure.

good boat

light weight for the size and tracks very well. Boat is comfortable and fits 2 adults and 1 child (6yrs old) pretty well with the middle seat. Seats/back rests could use an upgrade, but for the price, we love it.

RED Dagger blackwater II 13.5

I just bought this kayak and I LOVE IT!!!! its amazing!! the picture looks orange but its red.. red red!!! its beautiful! It glides thru the water with such ease. The skeg is a nice feature. it does exactly what its supposed to, straight, believe it or not!

Great Tracking Kayak

Even with two people in the boat, with one paddling, and going into the wind, this kayak could make headway. Fairly comfortable boat, and it's nice having a storage hatch. One thing for any kayak you order though, is make sure you inspect it thoroughly when delivered, if you are fussy about dings and scratches. I made a "rush" inspection when delivered (I had to get back to work), and I missed some sizeable gashes on one side, and the bottom. I didn't notice them until I had put the kayak in a stand I made for storage in the backyard. Doesn't affect performance and you'll probably get more as you use the boat, but I would have sent it back if I had taken more time to inspect it (my fault).

Is the red color a true red? The photo looks more like orange than red.
