I love CWX tights and I love Backcountry.com! These are high-compression shorts and seem to run a little smaller than my other CWX tights. I use these for running and gym work.

I've been wearing these shorts for more than a year. I just bought 2 more on sale because I don't ever want to be without them. I love the strong compression and cooling vent. Take good care of them and they will last a long time.

CW-X is worth the investment.

I love the CW-X clothing line and i'm on my third pair of bottoms. These however, fit a bit different than the pants. I wear a medium usually, but large in this fabric fits nicer. They come just above the knee, which I love (great for large thighs, it prevents the dreaded overhang from the elastic grippers on the thigh). They don't have as much stretch as the pants, which have a thin fleece lining. They offer amazing compression, but the fabric is taking a while to get used to. It is not as soft as the pants which are lined with a small amount of fleece. Instead they are very breathable and made of a thick material that holds things tight. Overall, they get the job done. I am finding that getting through the break in period of washing and wearing over and over has softened up the fabric to make it a kick butt compression short!!! I love them! They are great summer running shorts, or to save a little money for the colder seasons, i may just use them under some fleece lined pants! You will not be disapointed if you are an avid runner looking for some compression shorts to help you go longer and reduce lactic acid build up! They really do make a difference for fighting fatigue. Try 'em, you will never run with out them. I have a pair for every season. Just invested in the sport bra too (basic sport model) and it is very soft and comfortable. The bra runs a bit big. If you are looking to smash your tatas to your chest, go smaller and wear two bras. This is the only combination that works for large c breasts and cross country running! Believe me, i have tried every bra and combination on the market. The best combo and best advice for avid runners with large c breasts would be; a nike pro fit sport bra under the cwx sport bra. It holds 'em thight to your chest and does not chaff your underarms or cause the under arm love handles from your bra ( I hate that!). Hope this helps. It took me many years of trying bras and pants to meet the demands, but here you go!!! Michigan offers so many seasons, the ever changing temps. really put a hole in your pocket book as far as having the right gear for the right temp. Good luck with your choices!!!
