Had to go up a size

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Originally purchased the Insulator tights in medium, but I could not get them on! I am normally not a large in pants. The large is much better. I can get them on with a little work and there is still enough compression to do their job. Great for winter running, although it's -20 today, so I think I'll wait a few days before wearing them again!!

I am on the lower range of Med. and I break out in a sweat getting these on. Is that standard for the support? Would the large simply be easier to get on but less supportive? Or are these less stretchy because they are thermal?

Responded on

Shouldn't be that hard to get on. They are not stretchy no, they are webbing, that is the CW-X tight compression you pay for...and should be super-snug, but you are also paying top dollar because Cw-X fits on your bod in 20 seconds without drama . My guess is large would fit better
