Description
Lock, stock, and one smokin’ barrel.
How many lifeless floor pumps have you had to bury in the backyard, next to Sammy, Doug, Sprinkles and Bob during your cycling career? Hasn’t there been enough death? The Fuse Floor Pump stands strong against needless sacrifices. Like something out of an Area 51 hangar, the Fuse looks, feels, and even smells like it’s up to the job of inflating tires well into the next generation. The Fuse boasts a large Bar and PSI pressure gauge, Presta and Schrader valve compatibility, an incremental pressure adjustment button, and enough durable bat-like weight to take down any trespassing would-be bike thieves. Fused! It’s too bad the Cutter Fuse Floor Pump isn’t more like a 5-bladed razor, because then you’d get to see a futuristic commercial in which one of our employees is scoopin’ mad ladies after shaving with the Fuse.

Sick product! heavy pump and look durable. Easy to use and to achieve high pressure. I was sure it was a double action pump but it wasn't. A no-brainer purchase.

Great pump. It's durable and easy to use. Has a good pressure gauge and attaching to the valve is easy. I had pumps before, but this is by far the best!

Cheap, puts air in tires

This pump feels sturdy, has an easily read pressure gauge, and the bleed valve is a nice touch. I've found the nozzle to be a bit finicky with presta values, I usually need to mess with it two or three times before air starts to go into the tires instead of pressurizing the hose. Once the valve is on correctly, tires inflate quickly and easily.
It would be nice if some basic instructions where included with the pump, as initially it's unclear how it works with different valve types.
Great Pump

Got this at bonktown/chainlove price anc couldn't be happier with it. Pumps up fast. The nozzle is a breeze with presta doesn't bend the stems and slips right on and off. A bit of a tight fit with schraeder and harder to get off but I really only use presta anyway. Great long and easy to manipulate hose. Tough sturdy and cool looking body. I had a cheap department store pump and then a mid range overpriced bike shop floor pump that broke, this one is a night and day difference. If you catch it at chainlove pricing you won't be disappointed.

As others have said, this pump is a huge beast. To put things in perspective, I'm a runner who occasionally rides a MTB, and I'm replacing a 12 year old CyclePro pump, so this thing is impressive to me. It feels sturdy from solid base to long, flexible hose, to beefy head. It inflates much quicker then my old pump.
Forewarning to those with children, while the pump may be big and macho, be ready to battle your kids' bike/stroller/trailer/wagon wheels (or even that old wheel barrow) in order to fit the head onto the valve. I thought the old pump was a challenge, but it was a Tim the Toolman comedy sketch watching me try to get the head on my son's wheel! That's the reason I gave this four stars, rather then five.
1-year on and still going strong!

I've been using mine (almost daily during the season) and I've had nothing but good luck with it. Sturdy, powerful and easy to use. The gauge is up at the top of the pump so you don't need your super-sight to see the pressure you're adding. Great pump.
Sick.

I used to go through pumps like crazy, sometimes 2 a year. This one is a beast. It's a high volume pump, and can go to high PSI no problem. It's a little bulky, but very well constructed and the bleed button is a nice touch. I got it for about $40 on bonktown and consider it a steal, not sure if could bring myself to pay $100 for it, but that's because 100 bucks can by 200 gooey warm mcdonalds cherry pies.
Perfect, Easy Pump

Yep. It will work on presta or shraeder valve on your road bike, mountain bike, or unicycle.
Bad luck?

Out of the box, this was an exciting piece of gear. Sturdy, nice guage. No instructions provided. We were able to use it for our Presta valves but everything fell apart (litterally) when we tried the Schrader. The plastic fitting where you insert the valve stem is screwed onto the main assembly. When we tried to "lock" it onto the Schrader valve, the threads gave out. We could never get it to work again :o( The plastic fitting kept popping off which broke the seal and allowed air to escape. It's on it's way back. Bummer
I would recommend this pump to all bikers.

Its the cutting edge of floor pumps. Easy to use, accurate.
Made very durable. Love it!
high volume high pressure, what more can you ask for?

If you want high volume and high pressure in less pumps then this is the pump to get. I like being able to use the same hole for presta and shrader valves and there is a button that releases as little or as much air as you want if you over fill the tube. Black pump is cooler than the silver shown here.
Fantastic!

The Fuse is a Solid Floor Pump

I've had mine for about 5 months now and I haven't had any problems with it. It is solid, well made, and durable. I've used it a ton and you can hardly tell. The valve is super easy to use, the pressure gauge is reliable, and the pump action is smooth.
Now I haven't used many floor pumps but this one is better than others I've used.

I can't figure out how to get the pump to work on schrader valves. The presta is easy, just put it on and lift the lever. It keeps popping off the scraders though...suggestions?
Damon Salter
Member since
Try wiggling on super good and pressing down while lifting the lever. If it doesn't hold after that the little auto-adjusting mechaism must be stuck. Maybe a little lube will help, otherwise you can assume it "don't work".

Write your question here...I just bought this pump and have never had one this nice. Does the nozzle require switching parts around to switch between filling different valves?

No, all you do is put it on and it will do both no problem. Enjoy.

Does this pump have both a big hole and a small hole to pump up both types of tires
Cru Jones

This can pump up both presta (small hole) and schrader (big hole). It uses one fitting for both sizes.
