Down insulation is extremely warm and compressible to provide lightweight insulation, and the tough eVent fabric seals out rain and snow while remaining breathable so you don't turn into a human sweat lodge. Welded seams prevent moisture from seeping in and eliminate the need for seam taping. The detachable hood can be removed when skies are clear, and Riri Aquazip zippers provide a final barrier to water trying to get in.
