The Cross Edgar Jacket wants to join you on your next search-and-rescue mission. That is, your next mission to search for the most rip-worthy runs down to the lodge, where you’ll rescue beer from its captor keg. A helping of 60-gram insulation keeps you warm through the last of the moguls and to the lodge steps, where you can take off the hood and powder skirt for a more casual feel.

  • Articulated sleeves offer a more natural fit whether you’re planting poles or slugging brews
  • Mesh-backed ventilation and Air Transportation system in back panel allow temp regulation
  • One-hand adjustable hem and hood drawstrings make for easy and quick fine-tuning

Bottom Line: For only the most noble of powder traditions.

Killer jacket!

I've been skiing in this jacket for a couple weeks now and love it. It's slightly insulated so most days all I have to wear is a very light baselayer... even when it's 15 degrees out. Add another layer and it keeps you warm below zero. Thanks to two huge pit zips and the air transport system inside, it does a good job of keeping you cool on the hike or as it warms up. The stunning blue color definitely gets noticed and the yellow zippers are a cool accent. The zippers all work well and don't get caught. I'm 5'8" 145lbs and the medium fits great.

Cross is Premium Outerwear...

...been skiing in the Cross gear all winter now and absolutely love it. #1 for me is the Scandinavian styling and design. All the pieces are extremely well thought out, from zipper placement to weather protection. The fit is spot on, I'm a true large, and I've fit perfetly into everything, which I honestly thought might be an issue being a Euro brand. You'll be seeing a lot more of Cross in the coming years, jump on the bandwagon now.

If you don't mind me asking... what are your measurements? I am trying to determine if I would be a medium or large. I am 5'10", 165lbs, 33" waist, and 38" chest. Thanks.

Jacket is actually from the Pure Line/Hakon...similar to this jacket show here. Pants are from the Flavour line > Balthazer (Blue Sky).

perfect insulation, fit, style and tech features

I've been riding in this jacket all season and love every aspect of the style and design. It's great to have a jacket that is insulated enough that you can get away with fewer layers underneath resulting overall less bulk and restriction. The pit zips are the proper size to dump a lot of heat quickly and the hood fits well over a helmet when necessary. I have the jacket in a large and I'm 5'9" 140lbs, the fit is slightly large on me but I'd much rather have it a little big than a little small. The attention to detail on every stitch, zipper and cut of fabric is immediately apparent. I've worn the jacket this past week in 0 degree windy conditions with a baselayer t shirt and long sleeve underneath and been super comfortable. I would highly recommend this jacket based on performance, looks, and fit.

Cross to the rescue

This jacket is the best, I have worn it almost every day since I got it at the beginning of the winter and I have no regrets about it! I have worn it in real bad storms and stayed totally dry and covered. The insulation has been perfect for every day, most of the time I can just wear a tee shirt under it and be perfectly warm, on really cold days I will put on an extra layer of long underwear and i'm perfect. The one and only complaint I really have about the jacket is the hand pockets, they are super shallow so you can't fit much in them, the chest pocket it huge though so that is where I end up putting keys and stuff while I am out skiing. I am usually a medium in women's jackets and got this in a small, the fit is fairly baggy on me but thats how I like it!
