Clip the lightweight, uber-versatile CRKT K.I.S.S. Knife onto your pocket whenever you leave the house. This stainless steel locking blade keeps things simple and Spartan for everyday use out in the backcountry or around the urban jungle. Ed Halligan's Keep It Super Simple philosophy comes to life with the open stainless steel handle and corrosion-resistant black Teflon coating. The K.I.S.S. Knife's thumb stud opens the blade easily and smoothly into the Frame Lock locking mechanism, and the Tanto-inspired blade tackles any small task easily and efficiently. Choose between CRKT's Razor-Sharp and combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated blade options. The K.I.S.S. Knife's pocket clip also doubles as a money clip.

Bottom Line: The CRKT K.I.S.S. Knife cuts the crap and gives you solid, streamlined strength and dependability.

Unadorned Everyday Knife

By:

This is one of my handy everyday knives that I use for everything from cutting cardboard to opening envelopes. I like the different, open handle design especially when it gets wet. Clip holds tightly in place. Thumb stud makes opening even easier. Very sharp tanto point.

Very rugged.

This knife will stand up to a lot of things. I use it to cut rope, whittle, cut small pieces of wood, cut food on camping trips, and it pretty much saved my life. I used it to light a fire with a piece of flint when lost in the woods. Its easy to clean because the blade is always exposed. The tanto style blade makes it very versatile. I suggest getting the serrated blade to extend its capabilities. And besides all that, this knife just looks good.

Great Knife

I have had mine over a year. I sharpen it with a diamond file, and the black paint has worn off. Holds an edge very well, and sharpens well as well. Blade is 5500K. I use it daily to open boxes, cut through ropes, etc... Also handy on a hike as it weighs close to nothing.
