Ok, so maybe your most comfortable snowshoeing boots aren't totally waterproof. The Crescent Moon Neoprene OverBootie will keep you covered, literally. Clever design lets the OverBootie cover the top of the foot while leaving most of your tread exposed so you can still get some traction if you're off your snowshoes. Stretchy Neoprene material adds warmth and waterproofing and the Velcro rear closure is fast and easy to use.

Bottom Line: We got yer waterproofing right here.

These overbooties are genius. Easy to put on my size 10.5 Montrail Hardrocks, slip right into my snowshoe bindings, and are very warm. They also seem durable, but time will tell. In addition to snowshoeing, I'll be trying these out running in snow without snowshoes.

56. Run on trails 6 days a week. 130 pounds. Fascinated by the idea of snowshoe-enabled running. How much of a switch is it? How to prepare? What if there is not a groomed or packed trail? Still possible? What what are ALL the equipment purchases needed? THANKS>

Consider Kahtoola snowshoe system which is used by adventure racers. Check out their website; Backcountry is a dealer.

Yes, $47 is way high. Check out zombierunner.com for their price.
These booties work great over trail shoes when used with snowshoes. Feet stay warm!
