I've only been out on snowshoes a couple of times for relatively short distances. I loved the manueverabliliy of the Crescent Moon Gold 13 WOmens shoes but noticed they didn't seem to float as well as the Tubbs Venture series. I live in Rochester so we get a lot of lake effect snow but not a lot of deep powder. Do you have a preference and why?
