    Assembly Really Required

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this as a house warming gift to some friends who just bought a house. This is what she told me about the table.

"Coming out of the bag, the table was not assembled correctly. After about 15 minutes of irritation trying to get it lined up correctly, my husband and I got it fixed. I have this on my back deck for BBQs and it's perfect. It is sturdy and holds an adequate amount of weight. I haven't torn it down and reset it up yet, as I hesitate to do so with how much of a pain the initial set up was."

    Best bang for your buck

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Stores really well and is very easy to set up and break down. Cleans off really well and I am a huge fan on the height adjustment because I am pretty tall. my only cautions are that it would be better if it were a bit more sturdy and if it was a bit easier to extend the legs without having them snap back at you.

    Any time, Any place

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Crazy Creek Aluminum table is the perfect table for car camping or just using as an extra table for a BBQ. It's light, easy to setup and works well. Highly recommended for anyone who does have a table like this!

    Hella Convenient

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is my first packable table. So, I can't make a direct comparison to another similar product.

Not sure why they call this "roll up" because nothing rolls. The top does a sort of accordion fold, and in a way so do the legs. So, it would be more accurate to call it the Crazy Legs Fold Up table, IMO.

There are three parts to this table: the legs, the struts that attach the top to the legs, and the top. Perhaps, the storage bag could be a fourth part, because without it packing this thing would be irritating.

When I was car camping in Zion I found the struts and legs to be optional. I just laid the top on a Rubbermaid tub and voila! But the tub was the right height for the chairs we had. The adjustable height of the legs is a nice feature because I tend to be 6' tall when standing, unless I've got my stilts on, but I'm only about 4 1/2" tall when I'm sitting. Go figure. Also, each leg length can be adjusted independent of the others, which could come in handy if you're building a beer-a-mid on uneven terrain.

On the flip size, I could see the legs and struts breaking. They're seemingly made of thinnish aluminum, which saves weight at the expense of durability. If you inadvertently stepped on one of those pieces it could fail at various points, me thinks, but that's just hypothetical. Still, I'd be mindful of it. Likewise, there's some kind of spring or elasticized cord inside the leg tubing that automatically retracts the legs when the flip locks are open. I could see that failing internally after lots of use.

Otherwise, the Crazy Creek Crazy Legs table is a pretty light, versatile, packable piece of gear that will probably be invited on every car camping trip from here on out.

Photo shows that the table top folds up, doesn't roll up as the name suggests. See also the clip where the struts attach to the table top (black C-shaped thingy). If you broke this you'd be screwed.

    Great Table!

Crazy Creek Crazy Legs Aluminum Roll-Up Table is great addition to my camp gear. Lightweight to hike with if your camp spot isn't too far away. I also just use it for backyard gatherings. Comes with a carry bag as well, nice little addition.

      Crazyyyy Cool

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I took this table out on it's first trip over spring break down to Escalante and I think I'm in love! Granted, it is a little flimsy in design, but it's super light and sets up crazy fast. On our trip it held an old, large, heavy Coleman stove along with several bottles of whiskey and never wavered. It even survived a wind/snow storm. I imagine it will last me many desert seasons provided I treat it right.

This table is adjustable and can stand at perfect "kitchen counter" height. It's by no means a backpacking item, but it's an improvement on the rocks I used to set my stove up on for sure!

      NOT Recommended....

I would NOT recommend this table(really sucks). The screws on the underside of the table top were stripped out again. Will make my own repairs by installing bigger screws, don't have any high hopes of it lasting to long.

        Crazy Legs Table....

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

First of all, the frame is made of all aluminum(Legs/connecting cross-members.) which don't make it look or feel very durable.. "As to where the other that I have (Same design)is made of light steel (legs/cross-connecting bars etc.) which make the frame alot more durable". The only plus is the height adjustments to the table. Not very sand friendly, will need to purchase rubber boots so that the table won't sink into the sand when being used, just wish the frame was made of a more durable metal(Light steel) Watch out for the screws on the underside of the table top they seem to strip out easily..Alot easier and faster to set-up then other models that I have checked out..Great service from Backcountry.com again.. Thank you all....
