Quick releases have lost favor in many places because of the force necessary to properly tighten it into place. The Crankbrothers Split Quick Release Levers make the force part of the equation easy by splitting the lever in two.

The Crankbrothers Split Quick Release Levers take the concept of a single lever and splits it in two. Instead of having to close or open a quick release lever with one big push, the lever can be moved with two smaller pushes. There are upper and lower halves to each lever. Push the lower and both can be tightened at once. Push the upper and both can be loosened at once. But if that's too hard, first tighten the upper and then the lower. Each will take half the force. To make opening easier, open the lower first. It’s even easier in practice than it sounds.

The Crankbrothers Split Quick Release Levers is designed for 110mm front wheels and 135mm rear wheels. The levers and hardware are made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The shafts are stainless steel. Offered in Black, Red, Blue, Green, and Orange. 127g/set.
