Cobalt 3 Wheelset - 27.5in

The Crank Brothers Cobalt 3 27.5 inch Wheelset is designed to handle the toughest trail riding, and it’s also incredibly lightweight which makes it ideal for XC racing. The Cobalt 3’s unique extruded rim design makes it stronger than most offerings, while also reducing weight. The design also redistributes mass closer to the hub to reduce rotational inertia to create a faster spinning wheel. Crank Brothers paired spoke design saves additional weight while increasing lateral stiffness, resulting in a balanced and tough wheel. The Cobalt 3’s feature a set of custom Crank Brothers straight pull hubs. The rear hub runs on a trusted three-pawl design for shockingly quick engagement. The front hub comes with end caps for a 15mm axle, and is adaptable to a 9mm quick release axle. The rear wheel comes with the 12x142mm rear thru axle being and is convertible to 9x135mm.
