Craft came to fame on the strength of their baselayers. The Women's Active Crewneck Long Sleeve Base Layer is the core of that strength.
The key to its success was, and remains, the vertically-ribbed polyester fabric that created pockets of warm air and was able to both wick sweat and channel vapor for maximum effect. For these to work to their maximum, they have to fit like a second skin. Flatlock stitching means you won't notice the seams as they hug your body. The fabric now goes by the name Active, but it was once the proZero. It's good from 60 degrees Fahrenheit down as low as you can go.
The Craft Women's Active Crewneck Long Sleeve Base Layer comes in sizes from X-Small to XX-Large.

I really like this shirt. It's comfortable and attractive. We're already getting some chilly mornings in the Buffallo area and I've worn this many times since I got it last month. It's a nice base layer and I can use it as a stand alone when I come home later in the day and it's warned up enough to not want my jacket, but need more than short sleeves. I also wear it around the house with my sweats. It's really comfortable.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Wore a shirtless thin base layer then this long sleeved Craft layer. Felt great but as I'm beginning to realize all cycling clothing runs small. Could do without the Craft logo right in the middle of my neck (kind of scratchy). Overall it does the job right though! Next time I would get a L.
Warm, flexible, comfortable!

I LOVE these shirts. I bought one for my base layer for the Antarctic Ice Marathon, and it was perfect because it was soft against my skin, allowed me to move comfortably without being restrictive or sliding around, and it definitely kept me warm. I just wore one as my top layer (over a Tshirt) to hike Mt Katahdin in Maine, and again it was perfect-- didn't ride up or slide around while I was scrambling around on rocks and kept me warm in the wind on the peak. I wear Larges because I don't like shrink-wrap fitted base layers (that whole movement thing), and the sleeves fit perfectly!
