Blending style and functionality, the Costa Del Mar Women's Maya Polarized Sunglasses are just as eager as you to bounce back and forth between the swim-up tiki bar and sand volleyball tournament. A tough polycarbonate lens not only eliminates glare and harmful rays, but withstands the occasionally rough-and-tumble beachside lifestyle.

  • 580P polycarbonate lenses offer a high level of contrast and clarity by blocking out yellow-spectrum light that creates visual 'noise'
  • A C-Shell lens coating is fused to the body of the lens and offers enhanced resistances to smudging, scratching, and sweat or oils

What is the difference in cleaning a glass...

What is the difference in cleaning a glass lens and the 580 polycarbonate not to get scratched?

Hey joanne larsne,

Thanks for the question. When it comes to cleaning either lens, medium soap (no ammonia, bleach, vinegar or window cleaner), warm water and a dry cloth is best. Some microfiber cloths like the soft bag that sunglasses often come with work with polycarbonate lenses for dry cleaning in a pinch, but I wouldn't use them for glass.
