Costa Del Mar Rincon Polarized Sunglasses - Costa 580 Glass Lens - 2008 BCS

Hard to give these a rating...they are nice sunglasses, and Costa's 580 polarized lenses are superb at cutting glare & improving below-the-surface visibility on the water. But these things are so tiny it seemed like they were kids' shades. They are NOT a medium fit, not even close. Get 'em for you kid & they'll be the envy of the playground.

The description says for Medium/large faces. This is not true (and even the Costa web site says that the frame size is small). These might work OK for teens, women, or men with very narrow faces, but for average-sized men these frames are way too small.

Having said that, I will say that these are nice shades. The Costa 580 glass lens is incredibly clear and the polarization is excellent. The 580 lens does is probably my favorite lens when around the water on bright days. But unless you have a smallish face, I would definitely look at the other Costa Del Mar styles.

I got these glasses and have to agree with the other reviewer that they are small. I tried to put them on my medium to large size head (I fit that in other CDM or Oakley glasses) and I couldn't even get the glasses to the back of my head: they ended up about 1/2 inch away from my face. One of my assistants tried it on and it was a little big for her, but she usually wears kids' size glasses!! I would rate these maybe medium size for a female. The lenses are awesome and I'll be looking again at something else in the 580 range for sure.

i bought these white with blue mirror 580's and loved the, except the lenses were so small. they looked fantastic but i ended up returning them because the small size just didn't look good on me. i found some switchfoots that are the exact same and hopefully they'll work better. if you have a smaller face, these are fantastic and incredibley awesome

The construction looks really good. I was really excited to get these, only to return them the next day. The frame is really small. I have a small head. I was hoping these would fit a little big. They were to small for my dome! That never happens.

I work at a ski resort year round so I was looking for something with exceptional clarity and excellent glare reduction. I purchased the Rincon's with the blue mirror 580 glass lens and they have held up to my expectations. The vision out of these glasses is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to try them out fishing this summer.

The only gripe I have with these glasses is that they are slightly smaller than described. I would not consider them a large fit pair of sunglasses.
