Gave them as a gift to my nephew. He says they are the best glasses he has owned. Great for fishing and boating.

I recently picked up a pair of Corbina 580Gs to get a lighter frame than my previous Revo P's. I fish the flats and open water frequently, as well as trout and other freshies and these are hands down the best lenses I've ever used. Put on a pair of competitors glasses then put on a pair of Costas immediately after and you'll see the difference in sharpness instantly. As they say; good things ain't cheap and cheap things ain't good... Well worth the price tag, especially if spotting fish is your forte. Find a frame that fits your face and get the 580 lenses, you wont regret it.

Is there a Costa lens color that can be...

Is there a Costa lens color that can be used for both Fresh and Saltwater fishing?? My husband and son Bass fish and are in the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic equally as often, any suggestions??

Proper lens color depends on lighting conditions, not the salinity of the water.

what color lens is best for the water

what color lens is best for the water

If you are going to be on the water, i would suggest going with polarized lenses. They are a little more expensive, but it will cut down on glare and therefore eye strain.

Best Answer

The best color Costa lens for the water depends on what kind of water you are going to be on. If you are going to be on or around
Fresh water you want an Amber, Copper, Silver Mirror or Green Mirror. If you are going to be on the ocean, saltwater, then you want a Gray or Blue Mirror lens. You can get the Costa Corbina in all of those colors. Plus all Costa lenses are polarized, so that helps with cutting the glare of the water immediately.
