No Surprises

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs large

If you've ever worn Converse before, you know what you're in for: A great looking shoe with almost no padding, and zero arch support. There are definitely no surprises here. I normally wear a men's 9.5 or 10 shoe, but years of experience with Connies has told me that I need to back off about a half-size, so I bought the 9.

I wouldn't buy the White again--the color was filthy after just a few weeks, and after a few months the laces broke. Since the laces are the same cream color as the shoe you can't find properly colored replacements, and bright white laces look funny.

Old school cool!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

This shoe is old school but it's still cool. It' hard to get sick of these shoes because they are so comfortable and look good. I've had several pairs and I usually buy a new color or two each year. This shoe is probably one of the few shoes that I find fits pretty true to size for my feet.

Old Skoo Chucks..//

oldie,, but always gonna be a goodie in my books,, i normally wear a size 10.5 shoe,, and i would say that i have some pretty wide feet,, i was shocked to find that size 9 fits me perfectly!! i'd go try these shoes on first before you go order on this site,, unless you already kno what size Chuck you are..//

what white is? natural white or optical white? and the size is for men or women?

I just picked up these shoes a few weeks ago. The natural white is not bleached (or whatever), it's definitely more a cream color. Like any light colored shoe, it's not going to be factory color very long. After just a few weeks of wear mine are definitely picking up blue from the hem of my jeans, and grey from dirty floors.

In my experience I have to buy Converse shoes about a half-size smaller than I would from any other manufacturer. So, even with the men's sizing you might want to back off on your size a little.
