Your imagination is the only thing limiting the number of ways you can wear the ContourWear Women's Long-Sleeve HoodieWrap Shirt. Pull up the hood and cinch it to keep out cold, wrap it like a shawl, wear it off-the-shoulder. Wear it scooped in back, scooped in the front, or use a broach to create a totally unique look. ContourWear made the HoodieWrap with their wicking performance fabric that feels plush and soft while keeping you dry.
Bottom Line: The HoodieWrap—for creative women who crave comfort.
I took this top on a recent 2-week trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands -- it was a great choice. I took only one carry-on bag for the trip... and my clothes had to take me from the warm island weather to the 10,000' altitudes of "Volcano Alley," where it could get pretty darn cold. The top is very attractive and comfy... in the biting wind, I sort of wound the hoodie part around my neck and tucked it tight -- awesome to keep my neck warm. The material is very soft and packable. This is a great piece to take if you are going to be experiencing varying temperatures -- much more stylish than a fleece, and more packable, too. Layer up!

I happen to really like this shirt...different ways to wear it, fit is true...longer though..not a problem. Looks good dressed up or down. Would own more colors..bought one for my Mom..she really likes it also.
V. comfortable, & the cowl/hood is great; wore it up as the "Jolly Grim Reaper" for office Halloween party, down for rest of day, got compliments for both. Caveat: fit around armholes is odd, partly b/c fabric is so clingy yet giving. Easy to adjust, though. (Back story: Initially put this on upside down, thought it was poorly cut, & almost returned it. Apparently brain never got the memo re. dressing oneself. In my defense: the hood is bigger than the body and about the same shape. Most normal people can tell it's not the body because the seam is above the sleeves. Again - no memo, etc.)
Fabric is like a short stretchy velour (sp?) and "hoodie" is less like a hood than a large versatile cowl-neck, not quite like a hood. Can look dressy while you feel like you are wearing PJs.
I love this shirt! I bought it for my winter trip to India, and it had all the features I was looking for--easy care, versitale, soft... Of course, when I took it out of the package, I did exactly what another reviewer said she did (and I thought I couldn't possibly do), and ended up putting the neck on as the body and the body part as the neck. The neck part is larger and thicker than the actual part you wear on your torso. The seams demarcate the torso section, and the material is single ply, whereas the neck portion is doubled over, and with only one seam in the back. Trust me, when you see it, these tidbits will definitely come in handy. Otherwise, FANTASTIC shirt!
This top can definitely be dressed up or down. The soft fabric really holds its shape and feels great against your skin. I generally like my tops a little longer, however because it is pretty thin (but still warm), it's a great layering piece. I always receive compliments when I wear it.
I read the other reviews when I ordered this top - I had no problems with the collar, love the way I can flick it up to a hood. First wore it out to dinner on a NZ hill country station (farm). When the wind came up so did the hood. Kept me cosy and warm despite a cool autumn night.
I really liked the idea of this shirt, although I was not impressed enough to keep it. I am larger chested and didn't want a shirt that emphasized all my business, so I went up a size. Even though I went up a size, it was still on the short side, so I tried the next size up and there was still no change in the length. So, if you are a person who invites attention every time you raise your arms or bend over, here's another shirt to add to the collection.
The fabric is super soft and the length was great for me (I'm tall and like shirts to hit below my hip), but I found the doubled thickness of the cowl neck to be way too thick and wrinkled to look good. The white top looked like a life preserver hanging around my neck. The wine didn't look any better. Plus it was odd to have the neck of the shirt to be twice the size and thickness of the main body! If they had made the cowl only a single layer of fabric or a bit narrower, I would've loved it.
I bought it in black and love it. It's rather a small medium, so the neck cowl does not let me do the off-the-shoulder, but I wouldn't do that anyway. Thanks
Yes, the fabric is soft, but the torso is very long, and the "pouch" in the back is just plain silly. This could have been a lovely top, as the neckline has wonderful potential for many different looks and uses, but they got carried away with the lower half of the garment. Returned!
it didn't look right at all. I loved the fabric and the idea of the convertible neckline, but the fit was all wrong for me...to tight in the chest more...
