Contourwear AnyWear Pant - Women's - 2007 BCS

Love everything about this pant! Problem with this particular pair was the zipper broke after only 5 wearings. I have four pair of contourwear pants and have never had a problem with the zippers until now. I am very sad to be returning them as I can't find the Denim Contourwear pant online any where! I only wear Contourwear Pants when I travel. They have a nice stretch and after wearing for 10 minutes they fit me perfectly.Thanks Backcountry for your great service and very helpful staff! I also usually wear a 4, but I went by the size chart and got a 6. They fit really nice, but they are not skin tight so I hope they don't stretch too much. The biggest drawback for me is the length. The slit front leg opening was already a little bit funky for me, but these pants are way too short (I'm 5'7"). So I'm having them lengthened (and using the entire hem) and will have to really close the slit a lot - but not all the way or they would be too narrow at the bottom. The alteration is not as simple as it should be. These should be made longer because it is always easier to shorten pants than lengthen or they should be offered in tall because there are a lot of people a lot taller than I am. That said, I'm looking forward to wearing them because they are very flattering and very comfortable.

i am 5'4" and about 120#, somewhat longwaisted. waist 25, hips 35. i bought a size 2 and have a black and grey pair. i have trouble getting pants that fit. these pants fit me perfectly, although they are a smidge long. they're ok if i wear them with heels or boots. the fit is fantastic. i usually wear them out to dinner. the slit at the bottom is very sexy, and they're lower rise, hitting between the hip and waist. i have taken them travelling. they come out of the suitcase wrinkled, but once you put them on they look fine. i would imagine that being schoeller they would be great for hiking as well, but i can't hike in them as i'm keeping them at their longer length for fancier occasions. the hidden pockets are awesome too, though it's tight fitting a passport in them.

The pants just arrived. Too small! They are form-fitting like my Nike workout pants. Off the rack, I wear a size 4...except for designer pants when I often need to downsize to a size 2. Apparently, these run smaller than the typical ready-to-wear. They appear to be the perfect pant for travel - and just what I was looking for. I have just re-ordered them in a size 6 and hopefully they will fit. I'll post an update later.

Love these pants for work, exercise and travel. Easy to wipe off spills and dirt. Wrinkles disappear after you put them on. True to size (initially snug but loosens up). Little challenging to let out the hem to create a longer inseam but worth it. Great pant.

Love, love, love these pants! Have them in black. I saw them in demin and had to have them. They are a bit snug at first but after having them on for 5 minutes they fit perfectly. I am a total Contourwear Woman. Best fit, comfort, and style in travel wear that I have ever worn!

These pants kept me from getting soaking wet on a recent trip to Germany. It was coming a downpour and I looked down at my pants and beads of water were standing on the fabric. When I did get inside the bus I just brushed the water off and was nice and dry and everyone around me was soaked....Make a Jacket from the same fabric! Dries quickly, a bonus, when traveling!

I am in love with these pants! I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. I get lots on compliments on them esp the little slit. I wore my on a business trip where I was 7 hours in the back seat in one day. Not a wrinkle and no sagging at the knee. I bought them for a trip to France in may and I think they will be perfect. I am so glad I found these pants!

I tried these pants on again and discovered that my initial impression about the fit was wrong. I am between sizes...the 4 is too tight and the 6 is too loose. The pants fit fairly well through the hips, but the waist was too big on me. I was concerned about the fabric stretching, so I decided to return them, although I really did like the pants.

To recap: I ordered these in my usual Size 4 and found them to be exceeding snug and had to return them. I re-ordered in a Size 6 hoping for the best, as I liked the pants a great deal. They arrived this morning and fit me very well...not perfect, but more than acceptable. They fit smoothly through the hips and curve nicely with the bottom. The waist sits at a modern level just below the waist and has little "ease" to it, so I am hoping that the fabric holds its shape and does not stretch out with wear. If that happens, it will be easy to fix because there is a seam that runs through the back waist. I'll let you know how they hold up after my trip.

I tried on a size 6 and they were tighter than skin tight, so I ordered the 8. They were a little large in the waist, but I liked the pants so much that I thought I could solve the problem by having them altered. I wore the pants for one long day, and indeed they kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I had them altered to fit perfectly. I wore them again, and they kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. The material is beautiful--hard-wearing and stylish--but they absolutely must do something about this "expansion" feature, which they call "relaxing." Unfortunately the issue isn't solved by buying a size or two smaller, because the "relaxing" does not happen to the length.

Fits and looks great. Be aware of: 1) inconsistency in # of pockets in ankle hem; some have one and some have two and the latter don't accommodate a passport. 2) The zippers don't slide easily. They should have used YKK zippers!

I am regularly a size 4, but after reading reviews I thought I'd better get a size 6. The tag says to order tight "like a pair of jeans just out of the dryer" because they will relax. I sent the 6 back after trying them on and got the size 4. They're perfect!!! They look really nice, but the sturdy fabric is good if you are a frequent traveler. The quick drying, durable fabric is perfect. These pants are just what you need if you are an adventurous, frequent traveler who likes to travel light, a mom with a toddler, or an inhabitant of cubicle land. Get the black, it hides any body flaws you might think you have and they make you look even better!

These are wonderful pants! I have them in both the brown herringbone and black. The fabric is amazing -- looks terrific and incredibly sturdy. I wear the pants to the office all the time... and they are unbelievable for travel. Once, I took a hard fall from my bike, fell hard on my knee... I ended up with a pretty badly skinned knee, but the pant was completely undamaged! And I think the fabric saved my knee from being damaged more than it was. The pants are expensive, but they are totally worth it.
