When your adventurous infant takes his first crawls or steps in the snow, the Columbia Infant Boys’ Wildcat Ridge Set is there to keep him warm and comfortable. An attached bib adds torso warmth and blocks snow. Both the jacket and pants have a water-repellent coating and insulation so your tot feels dry and cozy out in the backyard or on his first small sledding adventure. Zip off this Columbia jacket’s storm hood to lighten the bulk-factor when the skies are clear.

Bottom Line: His first days in the snow should be warm ones.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Our family recently went on a snowboarding trip and we purchased this gear for our new born son.

This product kept him very comfortable while he was up on the mountain with us. In fact the first day we went up, he was so warm that he slept the majority of the time.

I liked the fact that this is a two peice set which allowed for some flexibility in regards to layering and allowing for ventilation. After seeing how warm it kept my son on the first day we were did not worry about him getting cold while we were outside in cold weather.

Does the Wildcat Ridge set have a full-length zipper along the pant to allow for easy diaper access like the Santa Peak set? Are either of the two sets waterproof or are they both just water resistant?

This one says water repellant, I am looking for a waterproof suit also. Most of the infants things are repellant and not waterproof. I guess babies dont mind the rain as much as we do.
