Come rain or shine.
Thunderstorms in the forecast? No worries—just put on the Columbia Watertight II Jacket and you'll be right as rain. The Omni-Tech waterproof/breathable nylon shell is fully seam sealed, so not only does it keep moisture out, but its air-permeable design allows unwanted perspiration to escape. When it starts to drizzle, just pull on the adjustable storm hood with abrasion-resistant chin guard. And no worries about getting the right fit—this jacket comes with an adjustable drawcord hem, so you're good to go. You can also use the zippered hand pockets to keep you hands warm, or to pack your jacket inside, once you return indoors to warm up by the fire.

What is the difference between columbia...
What is the difference between columbia watertight and watertight 2 jackets (if any) other than the pockets?
There are very few differences between the Columbia Watertight and Watertight II Jackets. Primarily it is simply the next model year with new colorways, however, there are some differences in the pocket arrangement in the new model and a slight difference in length (the original Watertight has a center back length of 30" while the Watertight II is 29").
Both jackets employ Columbia's Omni-Tech waterproof-breathable membrane, both have drawcord cinching on the hem, and both have an adjustable storm hood.
When ordering, keep in mind that this jacket does size fairly large and most people in their reviews recommend sizing down from their typical jacket size.
