Spring skiing conditions are unpredictable—make sure your girl is prepared. The Columbia Venice Parka features waterproof breathable material that will keep the wind and snow out, as well as a removable hood and a fleece liner jacket. Morning might be stormy, so she can suit up in the complete Venice for first chair. At lunch, the sun could come out and and warm the air—so she can remove the liner and hood, stuff them in her locker, and ski without sweating to death till last chair.

Bottom Line: A jacket that adjusts to changing conditions on the mountain.

Is the shell of this jacket light weight? I am looking for something

Is the shell of this jacket light weight? I am looking for something like a wind breaker - not insulation but w/ zip in fleece

it is a very nice, lightweight waterproof/breathable shell. With the sum of its parts, it is a great cold-weather coat. With each component separated, you get a great fleece and a light shell.

daughter loves it. It fits her great and keeps her super warm down to 0F. Plus, I have gotten a lot of complements on how nice it looks.
