Three trails converged and somehow, you took all of them.

Every three-season jacket that's worth its weight has venting zips and waterproof breathable fabric, but only the Columbia Men's Triple Trail Shell also boasts a thermal-reflective lining that helps keep you warm without bulky insulation. A combination of nylon and stretchy elastane keeps this jacket lightweight and easily packable, making it the perfect choice for trekkers who push through nasty Fall weather or backcountry skiers in need of a performance shell that easily shrugs off winter's gnarliest days.

  • Shell constructed with Omni-Tech waterproof breathable fabric to provide protection from rain, snow, hail, and sleet without trapping in your sweat
  • Silver dots on shell’s interior reflect your body heat back to you rather than letting it dissipate away—it’s like having an emergency space blanket built into your jacket
  • Underarm zip vents dump excess heat and a removable powder skirt keeps the fluff from sneaking in

Here's what others have to say...

does this jacket have a detachable hood?...

does this jacket have a detachable hood? in other words does it have a collar?

Responded on

the hood rolls up into a spoiler collar. it does not detach

Has anyone used this as a running jacket?...

Has anyone used this as a running jacket? I am looking for something colorful, warm, lightweight and waterproof! Or is this going to be too warm?

Responded on

It's too warm for me, even with pit zips. The omni heat works best when there is heat to reflect back, and exercise creates a -lot- of heat.

Responded on

34degrees F, moderate sleet, and predawn skies with no sun at all, I took this for a 5 mile run. I wore only an Omni Freeze T-shirt under it and running pants. I stayed warm, dry and protected from the elements without overheating. i heated up, but no more than i would have otherwise and it breathed well.

I am not used to running with a hardshell and this moved well, keeping me visible on the roadside. The red colorway is 100% stretch material, whereas the black is not (70%ish)
