not for curves

Fabric light and was nearly wrinkle free right from the shipping bag. I tried them on and they fit & looked great from the front, but if you have curves, ie small waist, moderate hip and a bum, sadly you will have several inches of fabric gapping at the waist band. Had to send them back:(

Good travel pants

By:

The Columbia Trekster Pant is made of light-weight fabric that looks good, resists wrinkles, and dries quickly. The two back pockets and the front cargo pocket have hook and loop closures and are large enough to hold a small wallet, airline ticket, and passport. Siize 10 is several inches too long for my 30 inch inseam. The pants are difficult to hem because the legs are slightly flared at the bottom.

How long are these? I don't see info on the inseam.

They need these in long lengths

By:

I would have love to have been able to keep these because the material is really nice and stretchy. But at 5'10", with a 33.5" inseam, regular length doesn't cut it.

Great pants at a fantastic price

By:

I am thrilled with these pants. They are extremely comfortable, look great, don't wrinkle, wash well and have pockets. I was so happy with the first pair in khaki that I ordered a second pair in the taupe color. I also got a better price ordering through Back Country. The same pants were more expensive through Travel Smith. I've bookmarked Back Country as a source for my future travel clothing needs. I'm really happy with the whole experience.

Runs small

I usually wear a 2 in most gear, except this one... i agree with the review below, they almost fit too snug...so i exchanged for the 4 a little more loose fitting, but wearing them to load the jeep in 40 degrees and pouring rain... just beaded up on these pants and i didn't get COLD!!! which will come in SUPER handy in the dugouts at work this spring!!! Thanks Backcountry for awesome customer service!!!!

AMAZIN

By:

I loved the fabric on these, so much that since the size 2 i purchased fit a tad too snug, i am exchanging for the 4, they fit lean so i needed some more moving room for my work in these. Thanks for the wonderful helpful customer service as always!!!

good design, sized small

By:

Nice design, nice cut, well made, thin fabric with stretch in it that would be great for a spring desert hike, but the cut is on the slim side. I wear a women's 6 and these 6's looked like tights! So if there is a question, order a size up.
