  • Active fit enhances your form and allows you to move freely
  • Fixed hood adds protection in stormy weather
  • Drawcord hem seals around your waist to keep weather out
  • Zippered chest pocket keeps valuables securely stowed
  • Two front pockets warm up cold hands
  • Entire jacket stuffs into the chest pocket for compact storage

Everything it claims to be.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I actually own two of these jackets. I wear the chartreuse when biking and the sage one for most everything else. The jacket is not for sustained downpours but works well in short bursts or lighter showers. It wicks well even during a long uphill bike ride and is wind resistant enough to keep an early morning 28 degree chill off when riding downhill. It packs into a medium hydration system pocket and is very light. Wrinkles shake out in short order after being stored in that pocket. Fits well with enough room for a light down vest or sweater when a little more insulation is needed. I bought mine recently on a good sale but more than the current Outlet price. I love the jacket but am disappointed that I may have spent too much. On the other hand, I have been able to use the product through the summer.

Light, Packable, Comfortable.... Perfect

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It keeps you dry if its raining and when you sweat, it is light and wraps up in a ball the size of the palm of you hand, it fits perfectly and it moves with you, it does not feel like your are wearing something because it sticks to your body but doesnt feel like it! the elastic bands are great. The hood moves with your head and is very comfortable. The jacket is tough and does not snag on any branch along the trail. It keeps you warm but not too warm because it wicks your sweat off... All in all 10/10

Like a feather

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I just scored this jacket from a Columbia outlet for $25! Woot! I'm heading to Rainier and should find plenty of use hiking in 50-60 degree weather.

I saved money and for a great deal! I use it all the time... mostly for trail running when it gets windy at the top and also for cycling. extremely light and good packable size with straps for your belt. I really recomend it!
