Columbia Titanium Diablo Pass Hiking Boots - Men's - 2007 BCS

I love these boots,it's to bad Columbia doesn't make them anymore. What a dissapointment. I think Columbia is losing the real backpacker to companies that are more hungry for real backpackers. I believe they are catering to someone else now.

These Diablos were the perfect replacement for my 10-year old EMS, full-grain leather hikers, and just as comfortable. There was no measurable breakin time, as I immediately started wearing them fulltime as my daily footwear. The roller ball lacing is a great feature; it speeds tie-up and reduces wear on the laces. The Vibram outsole is especially good should you decide to keep your boots long enough for re-soling, like I do. And, you just can't beat a lifetime warranty. You will not go wrong with these boots.

I purchased these about 2 weeks ago and they are the most comfortable and tough boots i have ever owned. They arrived just 2 days before i was to depart on a 14-15 mile backpacking trip. As everyone knows boots take time to break in, but these seemed to come broken in right out of the box. The traction is Vibram which is the best and longest lasting outsole availible, and if you wear your boots until they are worn out you can send them in to be resoled. Also the full grain leather and Gore-Tex was amazing. Also who can the resist the LIFETIME WARRANTY.

These are great...waterproof, tough hiking boots. The week I got them I wore them around the house to break them in...and after only 4 days of having them, I went on a 4- day trek/camping trip in the mountains. They were great. Excellent traction, waterproof, great ankle support...and the lace spinners are great for easy on/off. gGreat boots, great price!
