From the Cascades to class.
Whether you are hiking in the Cascades or hiking across campus on a dreary spring day, the Columbia Women's Sweet As Softshell Jacket gives you comfortable coverage and clean-cut style. The active fit offers a low profile when you're skulking to class before the sun comes up, and the hood saves your efforts with the curling iron if drizzles threaten to dampen your curls.
The Omni-Shield coating protects the two-way stretch polyester shell from stains and light rain whether you're on Rainier or sipping (and spilling) a bit of bubbly in town. Flip the hood up to avoid looking like a drenched kitten as you hustle back to the car. Articulated elbows complement the active fit of this softshell for when you need range of motion to throw the opening pitch at the campus-sponsored intramural softball game.
Are the March lions roaring? Keep the wind and dust off your torso by cinching tight the hem drawcord. Stuff your paws in the hand pockets to prevent frigid digits on the days you forget your mittens. Fall or spring, blue skies or heavy gray clouds, when you want a sleek look and versatile protection from light rain, grab the Sweet as Softshell on the way out the door.

My new favorite
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I bought this jacket for fishing, but have ended up using it for everything from running, mountain biking to everyday use. It has a flattering/active fit, the sleeves have plenty of length and allow tons of mobility. The fabric is light weight yet very durable, it wicks sweat and repels rain extremely well. I'm around 5'3" 120lbs and got the small. Can't say enough great things about this jacket, wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend you get one!
