    Stay safe in the sun.

It's one thing to play all day in the sun but it's another thing to look like you've played all day in the sun. Avoid the telltale red cheeks and peeling nose by wearing the Columbia Women's Sun Goddess II Booney Hat and some strong sunscreen. Polyester ripstop won't shred when it gets snagged by branches, and the adjustable drawcord and chinstrap combo helps keep your lid on tight when winds kick up.

    It's a dud

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

"the adjustable drawcord and chinstrap combo helps keep your lid on tight when winds kick up."

Not so. The toggle on the chinstrap, unlike the one on the crown strap, does not secure the strap, and since it's a wide flapping brim, it picks up the breeze, the cord slides out, and next thing you know the hat is off. I wore it for one not very windy day of farm work, and had to tighten the cord numerous times.
