These keep me dry in the rain and snow, but are not very breathable. I went on a hike and upon finishing I noticed they had ripped in the back (I did not encounter thorns or sharp sticks, and they fit loosely/ are not at all tight anywhere)

I am very short (a shade under 5 foot) so waterproof pants are always way too long. Which pants do not have zippers/velcro bottoms so they can be hemmed?

Need a very lightweight backpacking pair of RAIN PROOF (not rain resistant) pants

Wife delivers mail for a living. Where we live, this means getting rained on frequenty. She wore these in the rain on 12/23 and 12/27 and kept dry as a bone!

Lightweight, and breatheable, didn't make her sweat when walking the route. Pants plenty long enough for a 5' 6" woman, too.

Pockets? Inseam measurements? Why don't...

Pockets? Inseam measurements? Why don't you post adequate product description?

To the right under "Select Options" it says "Size?" Click on that for your inseam.. however on Columbia's site is says the inseam is 31". You can blame columbia for lack of info on pockets, as they don't specify on their site either which is where there is no excuse for lack of information. Judging by front/rear pictures though I'd say no pockets.

this is a rain shell pant, designed for lightweight packability. There are no bagged pockets however there are through pockets, allowing access to the pockets of shorts or pants under this pant.

I bought this pants to go skiing. I didnt have enough budget to buy the proper ones. So I put them on top of several layers and they worked like a charm. I was dry all day.

They will do an amazing job if they are used under the rain.

Did I mention the incredible price????

5 STARSSSS FOR SURE!

The sizing on these is really weird. I am 5'11" and a size 6. I ordered the medium and they were so short they were basically like capri pants. Additionally, the waist was too tight, but the hips and thighs were too big. If you are short and pear-shaped, these are great, otherwise don't be sucked in by the good price.
