Does this coat go all the way down to the knees or is it just longer than a normal parka? I'm 5'4" and thinking about ordering an XL.

Hi Tanya, I am quite sure that this coat will go all the way down to your knees, or even a bit longer.
At 5 ft. 4 inches in height, you shouldn't have any problem in length - if you desire this jacket to go down below your knees. However, an XL might be a big big, unless you happen to need this size to fit your frame. Hope this helps. Jeffrey Levin

I have been looking for a long, down, inexpensive winter coat for a while and I finally found it!I am 5'6 and 120lbs and this fit me perfectly--I'm 24! Its winter-warm and fashionable. I was afraid to order a XL girls coat, thinking it'd be "boxy" because of the size but it actually has shape and is fitted. Very pleased.

absolutely. A tech wash and light, tumble dry is all it needs... a brief kick of heat is great for fluffing it up (30 seconds)

a Small would cover the bill well. There is crossover when the 18/20 and SM are set next to each other, and the 18/20 is a bit bigger
