I've had sliders before, but these are hard to break in. The bacl of the sole where it sticks up to keep your heel in is very hard and actually hurts your foot. It takes a long time to break in which is very different from earlier models.

These are the best sandals i've ever had. This is my second pair the first pair are still in great shape minus the soles from wearing them all the time.
