The folks at Columbia designed the Silver Ridge Weekender Pack for getting dirty. With its lightweight, durable design and various compartments for organizing gear, you can see right away that this isn’t a book bag.
- Hydration sleeve and port to keep you hydrated
- Omni-Cool breathable back panel lets water vapor escape and cools you down
- Side zippers allow alternate access to main compartment
- Hip-belt and front zipper pockets for your camera, keys, and phone
- Back loops for ice axes or trekking poles

It would hold a longboard, but it would be between your back and the pack itself sitting on either the bottom of the shoulder straps or the hipbelt. Look for a pack that has a skateboard/snowboard carry system, or if you like this pack, you will have to make due.
