Whether you travel through a desert canyon or a foreign city square, the standard-fit Columbia Women's Silver Ridge Shirt makes a wonderful companion. This soft woven shirt's UPF 30-rated fabric protects you from the sun's harmful rays while you explore a red rock formation in June. Mesh venting panels keep air circulating to your skin, so you won't get that muggy feeling inside your shirt. If the long sleeves are too much, roll them up and secure them with the convertible sleeve tab. Columbia added a zippered security pocket to keep your valuables safe when you're far from home.
Bottom Line: Button up the Columbia Silver Ridge Shirt and set out on an adventure.
Love this shirt. The venting is fantastic, the shirt is lightweight and fits true to size (unlike the short sleeved version, which I had to order up). Great shirts!
I'm 5'5" 153lbs with a 38C bust and depending on the shirt I go between M and L. I ordered the Large in this shirt and it fits perfectly. The bahama blue is a lovely color.
Okay, I'm not skinny and have some weight around the belly and don't won't this shirt to be too tight. I need it a little roomy, not too fitted. How's it tailored?
I am normally a size 14 or L in a top due to broad shoulders and chest, and sized up one size to an XL. Fit is good. The bottom sweep/opening is roomy, and very slightly A lined from chest to hem. Shirt does not stretch, recommend you ask the chat person for specific measurements of the sizes you are considering.

Consider sizing up if you are between sizes. The fabric does not stretch, but is very durable and quick drying. The L/S shirt is a thicker material than the short sleeve version and has a different pocket configuration. L/S shirt does not have the zippered security pocket in the side seam, the pockets are chest pockets and quite small. The S/S version has the zipped pocket in the side seam on the newer version/colors only and no chest pockets. I have multiples of both versions and love them for travel and sun protection.
This shirt is very practical and a great design, just not sure about the sizes. I am usually between a medium and large depending on the roominess in the chest area. I ordered this in a large and it was gigantic! I could probably fit two of me in it. Definitely order a size down. . . unless mine was just improperly labeled.
This shirt is not exactly as described. There is no zippered security pocket, but there are two chest pockets (not one as teh description says), but neither is zippered and they are quite small, only slightly bigger than an ID card. There is also a pocket on the sleeve, but it is so tiny I'm not sure what you would use it for. It is also a bit thicker than most of these types of shirts which makes me think it might be too warm to use as a sunshirt. I think I'm going to return mine. There are better sun shirts out there.
I need a black shirt for a kind of dog training I do. (Black is most visible against a light background and my dogs need to see me.) This shirt is a good solution. I am 5' 4.5" and 110 pounds. The small fits well. The extra small was too tight.
haven't travelled w/ this shirt yet; just got it in the mail for a trip to Thailand. The fit is fantastic. I'm 5' 7", 32DD and ordered a small. The arms are just long enough wich rarely happens on dress shirts, and the torso is long enough as well. Fits well, feels good, and i'm looking forward to wearing it!
I have this shirt in four different colors. I especially like to wear them on my day trips I take touring Europe. The vents and the material keep me cool and I like that I can roll the sleeves up or roll them down if my arms get cool. I also love all the pockets and that the fabric is UPF protection. The fit is very nice also. Very feminine yet comfortable and enough room to move without being too bulky.
Just used this shirt on a trip to Europe. It looks nice, dressy and/or casual. Wrinkled slightly in the suitcase but was fine after leaving on the hanger a while. I have two and wouldn't mind one in each color!!
