Columbia Silver Ridge Dress - Women's - 2009 BCS

This dress has been my favorite clothing item of the summer. So lightweight and comfortable whether I'm camping or running errands around town. Washes really well and just needs a few minutes in the dryer and then hung up to be ready for the next wear.

I'll get right into it.

Pros :
-Really lightweight and breathable
-Side pocket for carrying keys or other small objects is a plus
-Adjustable fit with buttons on the back
-Looks great and doesn't wrinkle very easily

Cons:
-A little scratchy at first wear.
-A bit shorter than a supposed "22 inch skirt equivalent" if you are taller than 6 feet (even with XL).

I ordered the XS in the green...it was so cute, and well made and comfy, but the vote from the girls was 2 thumbs down, as I looked like a cross between a nurse and a ranger. Not quite what I was hoping for.

I ordered the sage green in size medium. The dress I got was exactly as pictured right down to the color and the material matched the product description perfectly. it is lightweight and a nice design. The reason I returned it was because the fit for me was all off. According to Columbia's size chart, I would be a size medium and I was except in the bust area. I could barely get it snapped. It fit everywhere else but it was a total no go in the bust and I did not want snaps popping open! Also it is more form fitting than I expected not that it hugs all over just not what I had thought. While it does have tabs on the side to adjust the fit just know that you cannot adjust that much it is for a SLIGHT adjustment not world altering. But overall it is a nice dress and would work for summer or fall (depending on where you live) but the fit just ruined it for me. I will say though that I do rather agree with the other comment that it is a cross between ranger joe and army nurse.
