Set The Tone II Knit Pant - Women's

Wearing stiflingly hot cotton pants on the trail would be like wearing lingerie to the gym (you just wouldn’t do it). Instead, we suggest the cool, stretchy Columbia Women’s Set The Tone II Knit Pants. Cut specifically to complement a woman’s curves, these pants sit just below the waist without being so low they provide a free show.

  • Moisture-wicking Omni-Dry technology keeps you cool by helping sweat move away from your skin and evaporate
  • Move around the crag freely thanks to four-way stretch material and radial leg gussets that don’t restrict your range of motion
  • Reflective detailing increases your visibility to the headlights of a car and the headlamps of other hikers
  • Clean, simple styling means you look sleek in the outdoors and slim at the gym.

Bottom Line: Flattering not fattering.

It is barely on the generous side of the sizing scale. It was built to stretch and not reveal or restrict.

Great Pants!

By:
August 27, 2010

Wow, I am really impressed with these pants. I got both colors and am really glad I have two pairs!

Highlights:
- Great cut, slight bootleg is really flattering, casual, comfortable
- Fabric is thick enough to look like actual pants, not see-through spandex lycra crap.
- Waistband is high and comfortable, has a thin band of elastic, and a zipper pocket in the back big enough for keys or chapstick.
Overall styling is really great, looking forward to hiking around in Yosemite in these. Always looking for pants that are going to be easy-wear in the campsite, on the trails and on the road. I think I've finally found the perfect pair of camping pants!!

Runs Slightly Large

By:
February 8, 2011

I too love these pants; slightly heavy weight material - not flimsy - would hold up on a run or hike. I think they run a tad large - I got a medium but would probably also like to have small (they're out of stock). Medium is just slightly baggy on me which is fine. Comfy, great cut, slightly flared leg but not bell-bottomish.
