Columbia Security Check Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's - 2009 BCS

I picked this up early this summer and it is my favorite shirt. I really like synthetic materials, but am picky about which ones. I do not like Nylon and some lightweight Poly's are fragile. Whatever 'Modal' is, I LIKE it. The Security Check has some Weight to it. But is very cool and comfortable. It would definitely be a great shirt for travel. It wrinkle free and comfortable. Also has nice dress look to it, so you can wear with shorts during the day, then put on long pants and wear out at night.

This is another super comfortable shirt from Columbia. It's a just a tiny bit thicker and fuzzier than most of the other columbias I've gotten, but it's still cool, light weight, and super comfortable.

Like someone else said, these seem to run big even for Columbia. My large feels more like an extra large. If in doubt, round down.

I own other columbia shirts that are 2XL and they are a perfect fit for an athletic build. The new shirts(same material and size) are good for an athletic build but they will also accomodate a large belly......thankfully I do not have one yet! Anyway you might want to consider the next size down as the sizing seems to have changed.

I wear these shirts everywhere and constantly receive compliments. They are much softer and more breathable than cotton. On top of that, they don't need to be ironed if hung immediately after the dry cycle. I only gave them (the new ones that I just purchased and not the ones I purchased years ago) four stars because it took me a while to remove the white "Columbia" label from above the pocket. My earlier versions of this shirt did not have this annoying label.
