Columbia Sapphire Sky Fleece Vest - Women's - 2007 BCS

Got this one for my girlfriend for Christmas. She is very happy with it, and wears it all the time. Her one criticism is that the fit could be less straight & more contoured to better fit the female shape.

This vest is perfect for the chilly days ahead. The large is definitely roomy. Maybe could have gone to a medium but like having the extra room for layering.

So warm and soft. Fitted really nice. Perfect to keep me warm on these cold winter days.

I've been looking for a non-bulky vest that I can use over t-shirts and sweaters for the cooler fall and spring weathers here in SoCal, and I'm glad I stumbled on this one by Columbia. I followed the advice of the reviewers here and ordered one size smaller...the fit was perfect! It shank some after the first wash, but not enough to make it un-usable for layering. I love this vest, so I ordered two more in different colors.

Nice vest. Very soft. But it runs large and is on the boxy side. I ended up returning it. Backcountry.com is awesome to do business with!

My wife likes this vest and she's not easy to please. The price was great too.

but FAR too big. I ordered a large because I wanted to be able to wear a sweatshirt under it and it is just huge. I kept it and I should have sent it back. It's very soft, lots of pocket space, and warm.

I own several columbia fleece vests and jackets. I buy them any time I find them on sale. Backcountry has very good prices on these items. I wear them like I would wear a sweater and am always comfortable.

It's warm. It's purple. Has pockets with zippers. Stuff doesn't fall out. Didn't cost too much. What's not to like?

And it makes me feel "dressed up"!

I originally got this one to take on a hiking trail as put it on as it gets cooler. I am not so happy with the finish and look of this jacket so this one will be used around the house or quick runs to grocery stores.

This vest is very nice because it has a simple, clean line. It is very flattering, but I would agree that you should go a size down. I am usually between a Medium and a large, and the medium fit baggy.
