Pull up the collar of the Columbia Women's Ruby Peak Shell when the wind is blowing a solid 30 miles an hour and it's snowing sideways at the top of the lift. This shell jacket's Omni-Tech outer fabric acts like a brick wall against wind or water. When hiking for first tracks or heating it up on the groomers, the Ruby Peak Shell's inner Ultra-Wick Mesh liner pulls moisture away from your skin. Columbia gave this technical jacket printed nylon taffeta lining for softness, and an inner goggle pocket for stashing your goggles when you go into the lodge. A feminine cut ensures you can wear this shell out for on a night on the town as well.

Flattering to a woman's shape and it has everything you basically need in a light ski jacket (inside pockets & goggle wipe). If colder, you'll need to wear a bit more under this shell, of course. But at the same price as the parka version of this? you might as well get the extra option. :) Plus, more pictures of all the colourful dark-cherry inside.
