This shirt is great. It's light and super breathable. I wore while hiking and it worked great, keeping me well ventilated and the harsh sun off my skin. My only issue is that the shirt has a vent in the back to let air come thru, which is a nice feature but makes the shirt look really bulky. Besides this its a great multi-purpose shirt.
How fitted is this shirt? Does it leave room for a big tummy

I vary between a large & extra large (6 -0 190) and the large is a bit tight. It looks good though -kind of tailored. If you ( or hubby) are used to loose fitting clothes, bump up a size maybe?

I really dig this shirt. I picked it up a few weeks ago to wear fishing and hiking. It keeps the mosquitoes off and still keeps you cool in the sun. The button up sleeves are super handy - I have other Columbia shirts with the same set-up. This shirt is great to wear on the river, on the trail and it looks nice enough to wear to work (I'm wearing it at work right now)! VERY comfortable!!!

My brother gave me this shirt and it is by far my favorite hiking shirt. Keeps you nice and cool. Dries quickly and the roll up sleeves are awesome. I just bought two more!
