Columbia Ridge Run Pant - Men's - 2009 BCS

Received these for Christmas, and have since skied in them a few times. Temps were in the single digits with a strong wind. Wearing a heavyweight base layer underneath - my legs were completely warm. Also held up well in the snow, no leaks to speak of, even after a pass in front of a snow gun.

I would describe the fit as loose, but not too baggy. Plenty of room for whatever kind of layering you want underneath. I wear a medium at 6' 170pounds...with tons of room in the waist.

Will check back in if my opinion changes this season.

The ski pants are supa sweet. They fit very nice. Fabric is durable and waterproof. Nice zip hand pockets and full velcro seal cargo pockets. Velcro pull tabs to tighten the waist along with the belt loops. They have plenty of room for extra underneath as they are not insulated. Nice leg vents. They fit loose in the waist for me so I had to tighten the tabs all the way. I was just wear a single thin under layer and they were tight enough to stay up but still slighty loose. I grabbed the L and they fit perfect length wise. I am 6'2" $2.10. I wear 34 squared in jeans. Get some.

the Columbia titanium material is amazing. its super waterproof and very breathable. The inner leg venting pretty nice. Overall an amazing ski pant for the money.

I liked the venting zips on the pant legs. My last snowshoe adventure on Monday left me pretty overheated. The venting really helped. I also have trouble securing the waist on most snow pants. These had belt loops and side adjustments. I could easily carry my backpack and not worry about my pants drooping.

The fit is perfect for me -- roomy enough for a lot of activity. I fell in the snow last week and they protected me well. These are just like other Columbia snow pants I have bought in the past. They make it easy for me.
