Gallivanting around in sandals is fun ... until you get a broken toe and are out of commission for the summer. The Columbia Men’s Reel Deal Sandal uses toe-wrap protection that is integrated with the outsole so there’s at least a layer between your toes and nasty river-rocks. An external molded cage and a nylon shank boost torsional rigidity and support, and a dual-rubber compound on the outsole grips wet and dry surfaces.

Bottom Line: Protect your toes.

Used these for fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Was on my feet alot with the heavy waves for two days. The shoes held up well. My feet and back etc. were just fine...

Sandals worked great , very light and comfortable, they did retain some moisture for a bit longer than expected but hey I was in the Ocean fishing!

boy, these are the reel(real) deal, i love em. columbia has out done themself,s here with these. love the feel of them, flexable, stylish. i can walk around all day and not feel the pain that i would feel from other sandals. they get an big A+ .
