When a fleece jacket just isn't enough to keep you warm on your next frigid cross-country ski, but you want more ease and mobility than you get from a jacket, opt for the Columbia Women's Reach the Peak Down Pullover. Toasty 700-fill down provides warmth without weight, while the pullover's Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining enhances to the down's efficiency by reflecting and retaining your own body heat. Don't worry, though, once you start to hit your stride and warm up, the lining also wicks moisture, the stretch side panels add breathability, and the deep front zip offers ventilation options so you stay comfortable.

  • Side stretch panels add mobility, ensure a non-bulky, non-restrictive, flattering fit, and make for easy layering under a shell
  • Omni-Shield advanced repellency resists light precipitation and stains
  • Compatible with three-point interchange shells
  • Comfort cuffs with thumb-holes and a drawcord adjustable hem seal out drafts
  • Comes with its own stuff sack for easy packing

Bottom Line: Just the ticket.

Sleeves too tight!

By:

Loved the color and weight, but the sleeves were were strangely tight on my forearms--which are super skinny, btw. Also, felt very claustrophobic when pulling jacket over my head...had to return it. Would be better with a full zipper.

Not unless you already look like a beach ball. The softshell sides keep bulk down in areas where you don't need down to stay warm.
