The Columbia Men's Ravenous Lite Omni-Heat Outdry Hiking Shoe pulls off the feat of keeping you warm, dry, and comfortable as you hike wet, muddy trails while weighing in at around just one pound. That means you can speed-hike through the nastiest weather, whether you set out to do so on purpose or find yourself caught in a surprise storm. The dual-density Techlite midsole offers the perfect balance of firm support and comfort, while the Outdry upper lined with Omni-Heat thermal reflective material shrugs off ugly conditions.

  • Outdry waterproof breathable membrane is welded directly to the upper materials to prevent any penetration of moisture and offer excellent breathability
  • Highly breathable mesh and minimal overlays keep the weight low
  • Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining bounces body heat right back to your foot while still wicking and breathing for comfort
  • Dual-density Techlite midsole puts softer material close to your foot and firmer-density foam on the outside for support
  • Forefoot stone shield protects your foot from bruising from trail debris
  • Omni-Grip high-traction rubber outsole features an independent lug pattern for grip on wet or dry surfaces

Nice but platform shoes

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs small

I just got these and am planning on returning them. The fit is a bit tight but that might be my own fault/problem. I have another pair of Columbia's which are 16s and a bit too big, and I got 15s of these (I have other 15s that fit). The big problem with these is that they're platform shoes. Seriously. They're like an inch tall in the back, which is a problem for 6' 7" me because that puts me in the range of door ways. If these are actually backpacking and hiking shoes I don't see why they'd try to make them ridiculously tall. I have sturdy boots which don't raise me as much.

Other than that, they seem nice!
